Min Du Buffet in Appleton

The food was warm at best. Not much atmosphere. The service is fine.

This place has a special place in my soul! The owners and employees are so enthusiastic and while it is a small buffet, they literally have the freshest food you'll ever see in a buffet! High quality hot dishes, best buffet in Appleton by far! Its inside a mini mall and might be hard to find, but you will not be disappointed! My bf and I go here as much as we can, we love this place so much! Give it a shot if you're sick of sad cold food from other Chinese buffets! You won't be sorry!

It was a nice and relaxing experience and reasonable for the price and service was great.

There is nothing exceptionally interesting about this restaurant that would leap to mind when describing it to others, except for the woman who usually greets and seats you. She is a marvel to behold and it's worth visiting this place just once to experience her hospitality. Bet you don't leave without at least one high-five.What I will say though is that the food is typically hot, there's a wide assortment and its usually quite tasty. There is plenty of room in the restaurant, the patrons are friendly and the price for the lunch buffet is very reasonable indeed. All in all I gave it 5 stars for the food and the hostess!

So many memories at Min Du. Family-run, always a smile and great sushi. The buffet has all my favorites, a good variety of flavors, and is never disappointing. Clean, friendly, solid place, always a great meal. My family loves it here!

My parents have been taking me here since I was a baby and I will never stop going! Its extremly well priced and the food is AMAZING!! The staff is so friendly and will recogonize you even if you have been there a couple times. You can tell this people really take pride in what they do and care a lot about the place. Highly recommend!!

Great food and great service. Price is very reasonable as well. They have the best hostess in the area by far. She is instantly your best friend. My kids absolutely love her. This may be a small restaurant but it is the best in the area.

The friendliness of the staff outweighs the flaws of this place. Its hard to find places that the staff enjoy their work and have such a family oriented business.

Low prices & great food. Selection is not large like other buffets, but the prices & service make up for it. Service is always excellent and extremely friendly, this is one of my favorite places for a quick cheaper meal.

Extremely friendly staff, respectful and effusive with my family. Always greets with a smile and a hug. Great food at an even better price. Love the peanut butter chicken and barbecue chicken on a stick. Also, very good hot and sour soup. Atmosphere is cosy and you can eat comfortably without being overwhelmed by other customers. Great, family-friendly meals. Will return often.

The food here is delicious and cheap. I came here with my family and we couldn't believe how low the cost was. They also have soup, deserts, and sushi. The staff was very friendly as well. I will go back again.

Friendly service good food very affordable

This is a small buffet with a very attentive staff. I seldom see more than 3 or 4 other diners when I eat here. (I do tend to take my lunch break at odd times.) They do a very good job of keeping the food on the buffet fresh and not leaving anything empty for long. It is perfectly safe to eat from this buffet at non-peak times. There is also a separate sushi table with a nice variety that I enjoy visiting for a light finish to my meal.

I used to live in the neighborhood and ate here on a regular basis. Moved a few years ago and haven't been back but I stopped by tonight and I was reminded of just how good it is. It's not like some buffets where you are overwhelmed with many options but what they do offer here, they do it well. Try the crab rangoons and peanut butter chicken! Very friendly staff and good pricing.

Small on the outside but has great Chinese food awaiting inside! Hands down the best crab rangoons in town! Cheap and pretty quiet atmosphere makes it a very enjoyable experience! Great service all around!

Easily my favorite Chinese food establishment. My go to. I love how cheap and tasty the buffet is and adore the super friendly staff. I often order to go. I've literally never been disappointed, the food is so fresh and delicious and often they will throw in a free order of dumplings or donuts with my carry out order. These people do their job well and deserve my business. I will definitely go here as long as I'm living in Appleton.

min du is a quality over quantity style buffet. maybe less choices than over buffets but a far superior quality. been going here for a decade, love this place

Before they up the prices, I was giving a high rating. Now they up the charge, yet don't offer more selection and/or fresh food to compensate. Best times to go is during lunch time between the hours of 11am-12pm and dinner rush 5:30-6:30pm. Otherwise, you can expect old, non-replenished food.

Very friendly staff, family owned and operated business. Buffet with choices of dishes like peanut chicken, teriyaki chicken, wantons, lo mein and they offer sushi. Affordable, nice atmosphere and interesting decor.

We had been here in a couple years probably. The food was hot and tasty, some of the dishes could have been fuller. The place was clean and the service outstanding. Ting is the sweetest young lady. We felt very welcome

Excellent food, nice atmosphere, and friendly wait staff. My only complaint is that the dessert area is not of the same quality as the rest of the food, but the other food more than makes up for that. I'm quite happy skipping desert in favor of the other dishes available. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good Chinese buffet.P.S. they also have some really good sushi.

I love their formal! Great pricing and I don't ever get the "hungry in an hour" feeling after most other Chinese restaurants. Also, I don't get the starchy stomachache.Their buffet is a phenomenal price; it includes freshly rolled sushi and the food is brought out in small batches often so it's always fresh.

I Visit every time I come visit home.Having my fair share of food from many places (Navy guy), I can say that Min Du does a great job for being in the midwest!

I LOVE coming to this buffet. The food is actually really good, and the price is unbeatable. My favorite part though is one of the servers. She is an older woman of Asian descent, and she's always in such a chipper mood and very upbeat. She ends every meal with a high five and says "see you tomorrow!" 😃
